About the association
The association “Iespēju Sabiedrība” was created with the goal of developing, supporting and promoting active recreation, sport and motorsport as an accessible, educational and inclusive environment for various groups in society.
Drifting for all age groups
Our main priority is to promote drifting for all age groups, especially starting with children and youth. We want to show that drifting is not only a motorsport discipline, but also a way to develop coordination, reactions, spatial thinking, discipline and an understanding of technology.
The basics of sliding from childhood
In cooperation with “Wolftrike” and “Drift Arena”, the association develops sessions with special drift karts, so that children from as early as first-grade age can learn the basic principles of sliding in a safe and controlled environment. Such sessions help children understand movement, balance, racing lines, speed control and responsible behaviour behind the wheel, while developing focus, self-discipline and confidence in their own abilities.
Healthy use of video games and simulators
Healthy and purposeful use of video games and simulators also plays an important role in the association's work. We believe that, by using simulators, children and youth can gain practical skills that later help them understand the basics of driving, safety, movement and how technology works in a real environment.
Safe drift training in Kurzeme
One of the association's key goals is also to organise drift training in the Kurzeme region with cars in a safe, controlled and closed environment, observing all the rules of the Drift Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation. Until the association was founded, such opportunities in the Kurzeme region were very limited or practically unavailable, so the association wants to create a legal and well-organised environment where young people and motorsport enthusiasts can train responsibly.
From the streets to a safe environment
This approach helps redirect interest in speed, cars and sliding away from the streets and toward a place intended for it. Instead of taking risks in traffic, young people and those interested are given the chance to learn safely, under the supervision of experienced people and according to clear rules. This fosters a more responsible attitude toward driving, reduces the urge to show off on public roads and helps build a healthier motorsport culture in the region.
An inclusive society
In our activities we pay special attention to children, youth and people with disabilities, including people with mobility, visual or hearing impairments. Sport, movement and technology can be not only an exciting leisure activity, but also a way to develop self-confidence, courage, cooperation and an interest in technical thinking.
Accessibility for everyone
The association's work is based on the idea of an inclusive society, where everyone has the chance to take part, try new activities and feel a sense of belonging. We want to promote the availability of activities, infrastructure and equipment that give people whose everyday opportunities are often limited the chance to take part in sport and active recreation.
Technology, movement and a healthy lifestyle
We pay special attention to promoting motorsport and technical activities in a safe and controlled environment. Through practical sessions, training, drift simulators, special drift karts, car training and other hands-on activities, we foster an interest in how technology and materials are built, as well as in movement, safety and a healthy lifestyle.

The founder and originator of the idea behind the association “Iespēju Sabiedrība” is Klāvs Ašmanis.
Klāvs is a Liepāja entrepreneur, motorsport enthusiast and a person who has long worked on the idea of creating an environment where drifting, movement and technology are accessible not only to professional athletes, but also to children, youth and people who have so far had limited opportunities of this kind.
Klāvs is also the manufacturer of “Wolftrike” drift karts. While working on the development of this product, he quickly realised that drift karts can be suitable not only for entertainment and training, but also for people in wheelchairs. Today the “Drift Arena” experience has developed so far that people in wheelchairs can fully take part in rides alongside the other participants, without feeling separated or limited.
Klāvs's vision is to develop this opportunity even further with the help of the association, from the first sliding sessions for children and people with various abilities all the way to a real motorsport environment. There are already examples around the world where people with very severe physical limitations, including drivers without arms, are able to take part in motorsport when suitable equipment, a safe environment and the right support system are created.
That is precisely why “Iespēju Sabiedrība” is not just an association about drifting or motorsport. It is an initiative about opportunities, courage and inclusion. About the belief that movement, technology and adrenaline can be accessible to a much wider circle of people, if there are people willing to adapt the environment, think bigger and believe that “impossible” often only means that the solution has not yet been found.
Klāvs is not alone on this path. With him are cooperation partners, the association “Latvia Drift”, the teams of the companies “Wolftrike” and “Drift Arena”, as well as friends and like-minded people who believe that motorsport can be accessible, safe and inspiring for a much wider part of society.
